Two Women

On International Women's Day, two women lost their lives one in delhi and another in Mumbai. One was brutally murdered and the other brutally killed her own children and then her own self. Both these women point to the fact that something is seriously wrong in our society and women do not yet have the right to lead peaceful lives in our country.How can any person have the guts or gumption of shooting a girl at point blank range and leaving the scene in broad daylight without being apprehended? What can push a mother of two to dash her children to the ground and then follow them to a gruesome death?? These are the answers we are waiting for...who is responsible for the loss of these lives? We are looking at a nation that appears to be mentally driven to the brink. One cringes just to think what we shall discover to be the reason behind these tragedies in tomorrow's newspapers. Are we ready to face the answers? That is what I want to know.
